Cocokara ココカラin Japanese means ‘From here we start’.

For us it represents the building of our resort, reclaiming the beach from the Island growth and for our guests, the start of their adventure in this tropical paradise.

The Vava’u group of islands in the Northern Tonga waters is the home of Spectacular scenery, beautiful seas and an abundance of wildlife.

Each year, Humpback whales migrate to Tonga to breed in the warmer, safe waters of the Tropics. Cocokara Beach is the perfect base from which to enjoy watching and swimming with the most interactive whales on earth.
